this is a great little saw for both compactness and power... i got it to make some small cuts in some stucco, it cuts like a larger saw, but it got into areas i would not have been able to with a larger saw, the batteries interchange with my other makita tools, and having had other 'big name' brand cordless tools, the makita has the best power, weight and durability of them all...
