I've used mine both on residential construction projects and placing bolt anchors for rock climbs in granite. A great drill, light, but powerful. I recommend the Makita Lithium Ion drill/impact driver sets, too. Out of all the cordless drills on the site these seem to last the longest.

The cordless rotary hammer is very powerful and effective. Its great advantage is that it is so light weight. Other cordless hammers are much heavier and do not eat faster into concrete.
