This is my first hammer drill, so my expectations were not very well informed. However, I would say this is one sweet tool. I was able to drill 14 5/16" holes, 1 1/2" deep,in five minutes in a poured concrete wall. I don't even want to think how long it would have taken with a standard masonary bit and drill.

Have also used the grinder that comes with it to smooth off ridges on the same wall left by the forms. Also very happy with this tool, although it is probably not adequate for commercial use.

With the included 5 bit set that came with the drill, I'd say this is a good value package.

I bought this combo kit several months ago and have been very impressed with both the hammer drill and the grinder. When you add the bits and diamond blade for the grinder into the package as they have it here, it's a pretty sweet deal. The tools have been excellent and I'm very glad to own them.

I have used the hammer drill for both drilling holes in brick and concrete walls - the tool didn't break a sweat on 8 inches of brick or drilling holes in the concrete. I did need to buy a longer bit for this application.

I also picked up a chissel bit for the hammer drill and used it on hammer only mode to break up some serious concrete in an old basement floor. The tool performed very well and I have every expectation that this will last for a very long time.

The grinder I have only used with the diamond blade to cut brick on an external wall for new windows - again, worked very well.

I think this is a good quality set of tools and while the value isn't quite as good as it was when it first came out (inflation seems to have really hit the tool market in the last 6 months, as of this review) I still think it's a very good value. Just price out the individual parts: drill, bits, grinder, diamond blade, etc. - I think you'll find it works out well to pick this package up.

worth the money but don't lend it to relatives. They won't return it to you in good condition. The angle grinder was a bonus & t works awesome also the diamond blade work grat on concrete.
