This 3/16-inch SDS rotary hammer from Makita features three modes of operation: rotation, hammering, or hammering with rotation. The electronic variable-speed control dial along with the torque limiting system ensures stable torque drilling in all materials. Reduced vibration and low noise (103 dB) mean less operator fatigue. For longer tool life, Makita designed this tool to stop hammering at idle. Bit installation is a snap with this hammer’s one-touch sliding chuck. The side handle rotates 360 degrees for convenient operation. A handy indicator light indicates when it’s time to replace those brushes, which are externally accessible for fast and easy replacement on the job site. This rotary hammer is double insulated and features 24-bit angle settings. Your purchase includes depth gauge, bit grease, and plastic tool case.
