I love this hammer 10 min out of the box I am removing a 80 year old fireplace flu. This thing is a beast. I know that bosch is known for the best hammers,but the comparable
bosch is $80 more and almost same specs. I figured the money I saved can be spent on bits and with SDS MAX bits they are expensive. This thing blazes through tile and with a few
outlineing holes will cut through a basment wall in minutes. I am self employed and buy lots of tools when I get a new tool I use the tool for a month or so before I write my
name on it I used this for 1 week straight for 40 to 60 min at a time and was so impressed I wrote my name on it that day without worry of having to send it back. If you need
a good rotary hammer this could be the one for you and a great price as well.

I purchase this drill on 4/21/2011 when it arrived via UPS I was very surprise by size of the case the, I did not expect the it to be that large anyhow I decided to see what it can do.

At the time I was getting ready to install a kitchen in a customer rental property that has 31/2 thick concrete floor, this floor is in the kitchen above the basement.
I had to rerout both hot and cold water supply piping that were too close to the back wall, I figured this is the ideal test case for this tool.

I purchase a 3/4 Inch SDS MAX Drill bit went to the jobsite and got to work, I was able to drill both holes with the drill in approximately six minutes after I started, there was minimum vibration, it went through the floor with ease.
I would highly recommed this drill to anyon doing a lot of drilling in concrete and Cinder Blocks.

The only drawback is the bits price, they are very expensive, so to take care of that I bought a SDX MAX to Hitachi SDS+ Shank Adapter which allow me to use SDS+ drill Bits which are cheaper and work very well.

This is the best SDS Max that I have ever used. Its weight and size are very manageable. We have used this on dozens of jobs since I purchased it. Everyone that saw it or used it wanted one.
