Makita offers a one-year limited warranty with this tool. Your purchase includes the trimmer, side handle, blade assembly and cover. Battery and charger sold separately. Have had one for years. Very light -- can use with one hand. Not powerful enough even when tool was new and with new freshly charged battery. Blade tends to jam on fibers from stalks. Justifiably discontinued.
