Valuable Collection,

For anyone interested in the details of Amerindian life in Guyana, South America, this is a fantastic collection of knowledge. The book would be interesting to anyone interested in native way of life around the world and what practices are still prevalent and which are disappearing.
The book concerns the villages of the North Rupununi, covering Lifestyles and use of the nature around them, as well as Women's Ethnobotany and Ethnomedicine. All information is presented as preliminary, a first step toward further research. That has been done, and that first step is a wonderful sight to see and hold and open and read. Discover some of the knowledge of this wonderful Amerindian culture. |
