This is the cover art for MAL/2 which I have and dig. The personel for MAL/3 from a cataloge I have is Art Farmer trumpet,Eric Dixon tenor sax, Mal Waldron piano, Calo Scott cello, Julian Euell bass, Elvin Jones drums, and Elaine Waldron vocal(s). MAL/4 and IMPRESSIONS are fair enough late night trio outings from late 50's Prestige.

Excellent 1958 outing which includes four Waldron originals, Art Farmer on trumpet, Eric Dixon on flute, and Calo Scott on cello, among others. Waldron's (former) wife Elaine Waldron adds vocals to the last two tracks, lending an erie quality, especially on "Portrait Of A Young Mother," that is more like adding another instrument than could be expected from the word "singing." To listen to this album is to have time go by much too fast.
