Djavan's recent albums have become even more jazz-tinged than before, and they certainly don't suffer from it! Djavan is a master arranger and songwriter, and added to the clean and punchy production and the fact that his band is as tight as it gets, this music hits the mark every time. I was lucky enough to see Djavan on tour after this album came out (sharing a bill with Marisa Monte, no less!), and it's an experience I'll never forget!

This is one of the most important pop artists worldwide. Djavan can mix the brazilian swing with an incredible jazz touch, turning his music special, full of emotion and beauty. The lyrics are 'close to the heaven' when we understood their feeling and poetry. Get Malasia to your CDs collection and wait for the "Bicho Solto" just released album, problably the best of his amazing state-of-the-art music work. Enjoy!!

I refused to listen to this CD for years because I loved Novena so much, I thought he couldn't top himself. Wrong! Two very different CDs, this one and the pervious one, but it's amazing how superb each one is. What a versatile talent. Less of that jazz sound than with Novena, but one incredibly, beautiful song after another.
