Malawi Fleece Blanket

This came in handy when my 3 month old was too big to be swaddled in standard receiving blankets but still needed to be swaddled to sleep. It was big enough, soft and has a satin trim that she loves.

This blanket is great! I have the Malawi bedding set but the quilt is too big and plush to use with an infant so I use this blanket in the crib instead. At first I thought it would be too thick and heavy for a spring baby, but with the A/C on it works out great. I like that it is large and I'll be able to use it for a long time. I washed and dried it many times on delicate cycle, it stayed very soft and the stitching and satin trim held up beautifully. It matches the Malawi set very nicely. I would definitely recommend this blanket.

I have really enjoyed this blanket. When my daughter first came home, we swaddled her in this until she was about 6wks old (the weather started to get too warm for it then). Now that the weather is getting cooler again, I have been putting it on top of her to sleep. It keeps her very toasty throughout the night in our old, drafty house, but is light enough that she can kick it off if she gets too warm.

This blanket has gone through the wash many times and it remains beautiful and soft. It has really held up well and been very useful. I would definitely recommend it.

I have the Malawi bedding for my son! I use this in his crib, because as mentioned before, the quilt is too big and bulky. This works perfectly. It's a nice size. It's not too small so it covers his whole body. (He's 20 lbs. 2 oz. and 27 in. at 5 months.)

He doesn't get too hot, and yet, I feel like it keeps him warm at night. It washes well for me so far. ( I only wash it on delicate and I dry it in the dryer but leave it a bit damp and then hang it over the pack n play to finish.)

So far, I've only used it in his crib, but since I like it so much, I am going to purchase another one so I can use it when we go out.

This is a great little blanket especially for winter babies because it is warm, soft and sturdy. It is a gender neutral item as well and would go with any animal theme.
