I bought this shade to match the Malawi bedding set. It's very pretty and fits in my small lamp base nicely. I like the stiching around the pictures of the four animals. I gave it four stars instead of five because it's a simple shade that has two rounded prongs that slip onto the bulb to hold it in place, therefore if you bump into the shade it will move and need to be adjusted.

This lamp shade is the perfect accessory to the nursery. It gives off the perfect amount of light for a child's room and is a great accent and fun piece to add to the room.

This lampshade is absolutely adorable. The stitching on the patchwork is such a nice detail versus screenprint or otherwise... Love this lampshade, but I too opted for using my own base. I felt the base was a little too showy with the lampshade, but I'm sure it matches the base and looks very nice with it. I put this lampshade with a small brown/wood base I had it it looks great. High quality.

The Malawi Lampshade is very cute. We purchased a jungle bedding set from a different retailer and found that the Malawi stuff coordinated well with it.

The lamp is adorable with the Malawi decor. But I'd suggest that you shop around. Some places sell the lamp base and lamp shade separately, while others sell the exact same base/shade as 1 product. We found this out after making our registry and I went to a baby depot to buy the shade/base as 1 product - for $10 less than buying them separately at another baby store. The base and shade are both well made and we love how it ties the theme together in the nursery.

This lampshade is absolutely adorable and we were impressed with the detailed stitching on it. It's a great compliment to the bedding set. We matched it up with a cheapy base from a discount store and it looks great.

This lampshade is very pretty and matches the set very well. I especially like the patchwork and stitching details. I didn't care for the base, so I like that I could purchase the shade separately and put it on a plain white base. The shade is made with two metal prongs that slide onto a light bulb. This is a plus because it can fit on just about any lampshade. However, it's a minus because it doesn't stay in place very well if you hit it while turning the lamp on. I would still recommend it because it is very pretty and the size is just right.

I love the stitching on this lampshade! It is definately my favorite piece from the collection. I didn't care for the lamp base at all though, so it was nice to buy the shade seperately and put it on a simple white lamp base that cost a lot less.

The first one we received was damaged but they took care of the problem quickly. It was a gift on baby registry and recipient was pleased with it.
