WHEN I INSTALL SIDING AND ALL OTHER KINDS OF TRIM. I WOULD NOT BE WITHOUT MY ANDY SNIPS. I HAD SOME TOOLS STOLEN ONCE AND THE MALCO ANDY SNIPS WAS THE FIRST THING THAT I PURCHASED. THEY ARE VERY STRONG AND EASY TO USE. THE WEIGHT OF THESE SNIPS DOES NOT WEIGHT DOWN MY TOOL BELT AS OTHER SNIPS DO.

I've worked with many types of vinyl sidings since 1989. The Malco Andy snip is so light, yet so smooth in its cutting. The only thing I've done to improve them is scribe a line 3/4" from the tip on the frame for j-channel notching - no measuring needed. Its an excellent tool.

I have been using these snips over the last few weeks to make copper-clad chimney caps. This tool is ideally suited for making long, straight cuts in lighter guage sheet metal in the field. I have been using them to cut 16 and 20 oz. copper. They are terrific. The large handles provide plenty of cutting power and are quite comfortable over long periods. The blades are just long enough to control across long cuts. I have made cuts over 8' long!. One thing, they take a bit of practice to master, but it is nothing most folks can't manage.

So far, they are working just fine. Only time will be the true judge.

This pair of cutters is one of the worst tools ive ever bought. its almsot completely unusable.
the handles are so big, you would either have to have 1 foot long hands or you have to use 2 hands to cut anything with it.
the 3 inch blades can only cut about 1 inch because the handles are about 8 inches apart when it is open. no one has hands that big
