God, Hanson Have Changed!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Malcolm In the Middle (2000 TV Series) (Audio CD)
I have to say that I was very impressed with Hanson's song Smile. I bought this CD as a Non-Hanson fan, and was very surprised after hearing this track. I expected it to be like the annoying MmmBop, but it was nothing like it. Since they returned all I've heard is "They've changed!" and I thought they were losing their mind. I'm 32 years of age, and I'm actually starting to become a Hanson fan. Buy this NOW, to hear Smile by HANSON!Smile by HANSON actually sounds like Bon Jovi and AeroSmith.

Hmm.....Is that Hanson singing Smile? It does'nt sound like them, and it's very, very good!As a former Hanson-Hater, I suppose I have to accept that they've changed.........

Hurrah!,
By M Jacobs (West Yorkshire United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Malcolm In the Middle (2000 TV Series) (Audio CD)
I owe everything to MitM. It introduced me to They Might Be Giants! I hafta say, this CD is great for ANYONE who likes rock music and ANYONE who likes the show. The tunes really capture the essence of what Malcolm In The Middle is all about: being a kid and loving it! I'm not really keen on 'We Are Monkeys' despite previously being a pretty casual fan of Travis and I think that perhaps 'I've Seen Better Days' by Citizen King would have been a really good song to put on, plus it was used in the pilot episode. All in all, most of the songs are brilliant (Boss Of Me, Washin' + Wonderin', Bizarro) but some do get a bit tiresome after a while. It is a great CD and I definitely would recommend it, but you certainly have to be into rock to enjoy it.
