This book was written with the intent to elevate the awareness of the conditions that afflict men and how herbs can alleviate these conditions. The book is a pleasant and informative read, that has scientific research to validate the use of the herbs (if you are scientifically inclined), while adhering to the holistic approach that is herbal medicine.

this book is helpful for any woman who is concerned with the males her family, this book gives clear detailed concice information on what, how will males keep their health together and it also gives information to the woman in one of the chapters. my fiance bought this book and i know we'll both benefit from the clear information presented here...i was looking for the women's version of this book by the same author please write one. thanks!

The first two editions of this recommended a herb Pipisessawa for the disease prostatitis in tincture form. Many sites on this disease recommend against any herbal tea for treating that disease, as the volatile oils can worsen the condition.
In this latest edition, the herb was mysteriously pulled from the book with no explanation.
Herbalists do not have to conduct any research on their products to test for adverse effects.
