Nick Baer is not a bad photographer. Some of the images in this collection are quite attractive, and many have a sort of rough-around-the-edges quality which has it's own distinct appeal. The subjects run the gamut from pretty to whoa!, and that is also appealing. Unfortunately, the rock-bottom price relies on the lowest possible quality of production. This is essentially a self-published print-out of image files on copier paper (or the approximate equivalent). I could do better on my own cheap, bare-basics printer if I had the raw files -- for a start I could at least use an appropriate photo paper! I'd rather just be e-mailed the image files -- no need to waste any dead trees at all! Very disappointing, and a cautionary example for where the potentially enormous print-on-demand market SHOULD NOT GO!
