Everything you need, now in one compact alarm. The Malem SELECTABLE combines light, sound and vibration to help even the deepest sleeper wake. A selection switch can be easily set to sound only, sound and vibration or vibration only. This alarm also has the added feature of allowing you to choose either eight different tones or one single sound. On the eight tone setting, one tone is activated each time the alarm is triggered to prevent audio accommodation, while the one tone setting allows you to choose your favorite sound to hear each time the alarm goes off. The alarm is connected to a clip-on sensor which detects moisture. This new Easy-Clip sensor easily clips and anchors to the outside of any close fitting underwear for boys or girls. NO sewing to hassle with or metal clips or snaps to come undone during the night. NO mini-pads to buy and attach each night! Sensor contacts are within the clip so skin contact or sweating will not trigger the alarm. The SELECTABLE alarm uses inexpensive AAA batteries that last up to 10 times longer than standard "button" batteries found in nearly all other bedwetting alarms.

We have had this alarm for about 4 days now. It works great. I have a 7 year old daughter who just hasn't been able to kick the habit of wetting while she sleeps. We have tried giving her no liquid after dinner and even went to the doctor and got the prescription nasal spray. I wasn't fond of the nasal spray, even though it worked great. So, we decided to give this a try. We got the one with the alarm and vibration, because my daughter is generally a heavy sleeper. I am not sure which part has woken her up, but it has done it job. It does go off with the slightest amount of moisture. I hear that after a couple weeks that she should be trained and won't need this. I will give an update on April 16th on where we are at.

This product worked exactly as promised. I would recommend it to any parent. Our son was dry in less than two months. The difference in attitude in our now "dry" home is just amazing.

My son is 6 1/2 and never had a dry night (oddly, he didn't seem to mind). After four nights of using the alarm, he had his first dry night. A few nights later, he began his trip to graduation of 28 dry nights in a row.

We used the alarm in conjunction with the book "Waking Up Dry" by Dr. Howard J. Bennett. Before we started using the alarm, we read the book together (it's written for parents AND kids). We spent a lot of time laying the ground work, getting excited, talking about what would be involved in the process, and how we would work together as a TEAM. My son was excited to get started. I believe the time we spent getting prepared and getting him excited had a lot to do with his success.

Do not hesitate to buy this product. It is a miracle worker. My 7yo daughter had never had a dry night in her life. We were fed up with pull-ups at night. She wanted to stay dry, but could not for whatever reasons. We thought she was just a very deep sleeper, but since she started wearing the alarm, she does not even need to get up an night to use the bathroom. She just holds it until morning-often times 8-10hours straight!! This alarm does not allow you to choose which of the 8 tones, but that's fine since the one you can set the tones on looks like a real pain to do so. You have to go inside the battery compartment and flip a bunch of switches. This one varies randomly between 8 tones, vibrates and lights up. We went from never a dry night to totally dry in less than two weeks. I can't compliment this product and the psychology/physiology behind how it works enough. It is truly a miracle product. Buy, Buy, Buy. You'll be glad you did. P.S. clip the alarm to your child's undies and then put a pullup over the undies. No reason to change wet sheets and P.J's. Thanks to all the other parents/reviewers for that great hint.
