I read these books when I was a little girl. They are a classic of children's literature. La Comtesse de Segur's hearfelt description of her very own childhood memories is a page turner. A must read for all girls.

All I want to say is that I read this book many years ago, and it is very fascinating to the point that you are escaping reality. it is a very good book, and all the novels from "la Comtesse De Segur" are very rich and nourishing, it will make you appreciate life today. I read this book many time, I am ordering more because since I came to the states, I miis reading good French Books. This one has really touched my heart and I am into the scenery as I read the book.
