This product is increasingly more difficult to find,and the item is fairly priced. I have a unique elevated Malibu lighting system on a deck that serves both as a decorative enhancement and as a security light. The rude salesperson at Lightbulbs Unlimited told me that these are not made anymore, and he sold me a HEAVY GLASS replacement that nearly pulled the whole system down off the deck. The product is good. The price is fair,and the shipping cost was modest as well.

best product for hard wired landscape lighting, they last for years.One problem is they are difficult to find . I hope Malibu continues to manufacture them.

While the Malibu bulbs seemed to be well packaged,, two of the six bulbs we broken and unusable,, the interior bulb was rattling around inside the reflector housing,,, good for a baby rattle I suppose. I needed to get the lights working and had to resort to another source (Ace Hardware) for get two that worked,,,.....I did not look into Amazon's procedure for handling damaged merchandise, I just needed to get the lights working expeditiously and did so. In the future if I can find bulbs locally I can be sure they work before buying,,

Since these replacement bulbs are no longer available in the stores, its nice to find them on-line. I have placed 2 orders of 6 bulbs already over the past year for a 6 bulb system. Unfortunately - the bulbs have a miserable life expectancy. I replaced 4 about a month ago and within 2 weeks - 2 of them burnt out. The first round of bulbs didn't last that long either. I suspect very cheap filaments. The orignal ones in found in stores held up much longer.

Locally all I could find were replacement heavy glass spot light. They were too much weight for my fixtures that kept falling over.
The light beam from these Malibu's is much brighter than the glass bulb too. The Malibu's were a good price and even arrived sooner than predicted.

You need these to replace bulbs in some Malibu fixtures. These are low quality. They can fill up with water. They are easy to install. I need to replace about 2 times per year. Yes my voltages are perfect for the system...I have a balanced lighting set-up. If possible, try not to get the Malibu flood fixtures in the first place, then you won't have to keep the expense of replacement.
