Absolutely love these. Great price too. Had them out of the box and set up in 5 min. They worked the first night after only a couple hours of sun. The flickering is very realistic. I bought the resin for durability. Unless you are right up next to them, you would think they are real bamboo. I am going to order some for my Dad for Father's Day.

I already had 3 of these torches I bought 2 years ago at Lowes. Since then, I have looked everywhere for them because they are so realistic looking - a really nice tropical feel. Found them on line - how easy is that. The plastic wood like poles have faded a little on the older torches, but the flame is still looking great.

I've had good luck with other Malibu solar Tikki torches but this one goes dead in about 2 hours. I'll give it 3 stars because it looks great while it lasts.

I bought a dozen of these and have them around my pool. They collect power from the sun and at night flicker like a torch. It is so cool and you don't have the smell like a real torch puts out. I have had mine for several years now and the only thing I have had to do, is recharge or replace the double A rechargeable batteries. I have mine wired to the posts of the fence that goes around the pool for more satiability. Others I have in the yard, I use an old broom pole or reinforcement rod. Helps with the wind.

Bought item to replace existing tiki torches that have weathered and broken over the last 2.5 years. Great product for the price.

These Tikis ROCK ! I was given 4 as a gift and immediately got on Amazon and bought 6 more. Malibu, the manufacturer has caught on though, apparently. I just sent 4 each to friends at half off the $15.00 each price so about $7 a piece. Now, today I see they are unavailable as singles, but packaged as a 3 pak for $65.00 !!! WOW that's quite a leap ! At $ 7 - $15.00 each, these are amazing and I've seen them stay lit until 5am. I hope the price comes back down or my inventory and gift giving has reached its peak !

The torches are perfect for my apartment balcony because flame lit items are not allowed. I live at the beach and the flickering lights on the torches look real even on foggy nights. I have received compliments from neighbors that the torches make for great ambience

We ordered 4 of these for outdoor accent lighting and they do the job. The flickering effect is very real and they charge quickly and last all night. The only down side is the stakes that anchor them into the ground break pretty easily and they don't seem to stay straight for too long. We ended up just sticking them in the ground without the stakes which works ok if you don't have hard packed soil.
For the price, this was a good value.

These used to be carried at a local store; I bought eight of them two years ago and really like them. Unfortunately, after being outside in Southern California for two years straight, the plastic bamboo got a little brittle ... and then being hit by volleyballs during a party in the yard made some of them break apart.

So I went back to the local store and bought some more. They were a different brand, but they looked ALMOST identical. Same poles, same ground stake, same top. Only thing different is the solar panel ... looks a little different, and the inside circuit board. I figured they were made by the same company and had a slight design change. Boy was I wrong. The other brand didn't look nearly as good in use -- the "flame" barely flickered and it looked more like a weak flashlight with dead batteries on a pole.

So I returned the other brand to the local store and ordered these Malibu torches from Amazon. Same construction as my old ones, same great realistic-looking flame. I love them. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that I wish the construction was a little better (volleyball damage or not). After two years the color in the plastic poles faded ... but the lights still work and look great. Even the broken ones still light up fine!

I bought 6 of these torches and plan on purchasing at least 6 more. They are really nice and add so much to our "pool & hot tub" yard. I highly recommend this item! The "flicker" is so realistic!
