I own 3 other Malibu Shores comforter sets and I just love it with no problem. But, with this particular set I'm so disappointed with the quality of the material is poor, the areas where two materials were sewn together is tearing apart, and the stitchings are coming apart in many different parts of the comforter. Not to mention the padding is already separating after two weeks of usage.

We were looking for a bedding set for the new apartment we have moved into. Checked the Kohl's, Targets and Walmarts around the place. Kohl's had some good items, however the ones we liked were a shade too expensive. The ones which were around $60 a set did not seem to be of a very good quality.

Read many reviews of similar products on Amazon, and concluded that many people have had issues with the quality of some of the so called $250 plus sets, available for less than $50. So we went into this conciously. Our quality expectation was that it would not be much better than the $60 ones in Kohls. We were looking at saving $20 or so. Chose the design from Amazon, which was a little colourful. Wanted to buy the $20 ones which Amazon is selling, but, opted for this one since this one also had a bed skirt, and we wanted that. That meant a polyester-cotton blend, but, we decided it would be fine.

Amazon shipped the product as it always does - immediatly. Having used the product for a few weeks, can say that it is better than our expectations. The polyester-cotton blend is acceptable, and seems better than the ones we saw in Kohls. The cloth does not have a consistent weave, but, it needs some proper scrutiny to find it.

Overall, quite happy with the purchase.

It was beautifu color, but thinner than I had expected it to be. still a nice decent thickness. Oiginal price marked is a gimmick like other similar bedding items, but worth 39.99

I bought this Comforter set looking at the Photo and the price. It wasn't bad as I feared. while the Design/Outer color + feel were good, the inner layer/color + finishing were not pleasing. I was ok with that. Within 2 days of usage, we found the Pink color sticking to the mattress topper. Oops. I have returned the Comforter set to Amazon..!! Not sure with others experience on this..??

This set looks gr8 only in the foto. In reality, it has a very dull look. Not worth buying. I got 2 queen sets and greatly disappointed with this purchase from Amazon! Price is cheap, so is the quality of the Comforter set!

Thank God I only paid $10. If I'd paid anymore I would have felt like I'd been ripped off. Trust me, please do pass on this item. The material feels and looks cheap. The comforter runs small. Thank goodness I ordered a king for my queen size bed. The colors are muted and dull, not at all as vibrant as the photo. Purchase at your own risk. If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is. If Amazon had free return shipping I would return.

I just received the comforter today. It looks like that the comforter used a cheap material. I bought the comforter for $ 10, and thats the right price for this comforter. It looks different from the pictures.

I would recommand this product, for somebody who needs nice looking but not expensive comforter set. I needed a medium quality set, for low price. I payed 10 bucks and no shipping and I was pleasantly surprised with the product.
I really like the color, which is elegant, soft ivory and not purple rather antique rose, maroon (maybe). Nice and light for the summer. You have to be careful with the top if you have a cat, or certain clothes, so they wouldn't pull the thread out.
I like the edge too, with the same ivory color, twisted.
We get a lot of compliment on it.
