It mainly concerns dark and twisted main characters. The writing is solid without exception, so I won't single out too many authors...but there are a few outstanding moments, from writer's with amazing, nay, stunning voices.

Red Turns to Green, by Del James, was by far and away my favourite tale. It comes early on in the book. Other stories that really caught me just right were as follows:

Shotgun Shelter - Jason Sizemore
Better Than God - Lancer Kind
Margery's Alternative Therapies - Tammi Pratt
Gossip hounds of Sherry Town - James A. Sabata
Stalin's Coal Mine - Richard Marsden
Death and Decay - Natalie L. Sin
Rats and Rednecks - Rob Rosen
Mr. Banjo - Tonia Brown

In short, better than solid. Robert's put together a sterling cast. He's my buddy, but he's got some serious talent himself, and he's obviously great at spotting it in others, too.

Fantastic read, whether you like your heroes dark, or just like a really good read.

Craig Saunders, Author of Rain
