Journey to the centre of the altered earth.
Altered as in people, in this case. A long time ago some people were altered into non-human form, a war was fought, the altered lost and now live underground. The protagonist of the piece is a down on his luck human soldier who is not a bigot by any means. Altered women are ok by him. He, of course, ends up on a dangerous trip into this realm of demonic looking people - the title being their name for themselves. 2.5 out of 5 |
