5.0 out of 5 stars Just great
Recently purchased this through Amazon, and just used it for the first time. This item is steady, well-made, and the grip is very comfortable. It does the job as we have expected. Recommend it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Scraper on the handle end is a bad design
We purchased this for an SUV that requires a reach to clear off snow and ice.

I hope to never need the frost scrapper part of the snow brush, because it will be quite awkward to use. It is in a weird location. The brush is on one end and scraper on the opposite end. The handle is in the middle of the 2 foot tool which will be nice when you need 2 hands to...

Perfect length, excellent functionality, doesn't leave scratches, has a great rubber foam grip that isn't going to melt or get sticky, and was only $3.58.

Hi All,

Not much that can be said about a snow brush...but I will tell you that this is a great product. The northeast, while not being hammered with blizzards, has been getting hit with a lot of small nuisance type snow/ice storms. I got tired of our older brush...and one day while sitting in (snow day) I decided to hunt a new one down on Amazon. $3.58 with free shipping and not an ounce wasted in gasoline..... What more do I need to say?

I love the cushioned grip with cut outs to wrap your fingers around it perfectly. The ice scraper works great and so far had held up to 3 cars - for 3 scrapings.

Excellent product in my opinion and a great value to boot.

To effectively reach the center of the windshield, I will be holding the thick brush and scrapping with the other end of the device.

A bad design to reach the center of the windshield

It's very good, but then I realized other products were cheaper...

Nevertheless, keep in mind the COLOR they sent you is NOT NECESSARILY BLUE!

The send me a red one, that's why it says colors may vary and you don't get to pick which one... so just keep that in mind.

Other than that is pretty reliable so far.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best snow brush/scraper I've found, February 1, 2010

Ergonomic handle design is very comfortable. I like the foam grip. Scraper seems indestructible and is very efficent and separating the ice from the glass. Bristles are thick, yet soft. Minimizing risk of scratching painted surfaces. I bought one of these for myself at a local store a couple of years ago. My wife broke her old cheapo brush and I looked all over to find another Mallory, which I could not. I ended up looking them up on line and found my best deal on Amazon. I'd like to see more local merchants stock these, as I paid more in shipping than I did for the brush.

A well made piece. This brush is not too stiff and the ice scrapper part is located on the opposite side of the handle (convenient if you only need to brush off the show or leaves). Rubberized handle allows for a good, solid grip. Lightweight.

After moving to Michigan from Arizona, I was constantly being told about harsh winters and cheap quality brushes... not this one ! ... this one survived a full winter without even a scratch... all bristles intact... I dont have to buy another one this winter, but if I had to, none other than this one...

Looks and feels sturdy, good grip. Great product. I've been using this snow brush throughout this winter in Chicago and I have no complains at all.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mighty durable, but the scraper could've been relocated., January 14, 2011

This review is from: Mallory 532 26" Cool Snow Tool Snow Brush with Foam Grip (Misc.)
I live in Chicago and recently lost my last snow brush. Anyone living in snowy regions and drives daily knows how important it is to have both a good snow scrape and brush, and most today come combined. I figured I'd look on Amazon since my last one was kind of flimsy, and this was the highest rated one.

As for sturdiness, I didn't realize how strongly formed it was until I received it (red, unfortunately; I was hoping for blue). The plastic is solid and heavy, and it seems like it'll last for years. The bristles on the brush seem to be fine, although I wish they were more rigid as they feel like they'll fall out after a while.

The grip is nice, and is very thick that even wearing gloves lets you feel the contours of the grip. The shape and colors are noticeably different than the picture here. I have the red version, but I'm sure the blue is the same except for the colors. The picture shows the rod as blue and scrape and brush as black. The one I received has red bristles, a black rod, black and red foam grip, and black scrape.

After using it a couple times, I found that I prefer the scrape to be on top of the rod on the brush's side. My previous one had this, and I found it to be much more convenient that flipping the Mallory one around and having no grip on the other side. This missing convenience is made up for in durability and construction, so I'm not too bummed out. That, and the fact that it's not much more expensive than my previous one makes for one solid deal.
