5.0 out of 5 stars I will never use another eyeliner!
While in NYC last summer I picked up the Shaping Secret eyelift wand. It was so amazing I picked up another one before I left. It is the easiest eyeliner I have ever used in my life & never want to be without it! It never pulls or tears at your eyelid.

1.0 out of 5 stars Too thick, too dark, January 12, 2010

This product sounded like a great idea: An automatic pencil on one side and a self-loading sponge applicator of shadow in a matching shade on the other side. The reviews say it stays on all day. And it's called an "eye brightener", which implies that it makes your eyes look brighter or younger or something. It does not do any of these things. The product is a great idea, with a terrible execution.

First of all, I didn't realize this pencil is actually shaped like a little slanted rectangle. (I don't like a heavily made-up look, so I prefer a fine point.) Now, if the rectangle was 1/2 as thick as it actually is, I might kind of like this product; but as it is, it's totally useless for me. And I have very large eyes, so you'd think I could pull off this much eyeliner, but instead it looks ridiculously overdone. And if I use the eyeliner pencil with the powder over it, I actually look like a raccoon.

So that my $25 wasn't totally wasted, I use my old fine-tipped pencil eyeliner and go over it again with the powder side of the Malley eyeliner to "set" it.
