This is the best single source I have encountered that deals clearly and comprehensively with the making of malt whisky and the best and proper of savoring it. There is also concise information of all Scottish distilleries. An excellent reference and an enjoyable read.

I bought this book as a Christmas gift to go with a whiskey decanter set, a small bit of spine damage, but overall a great gift!

Great read. A little overwhelming with all the history but overall very informative. The making and tasting portion are great.
