What r u guys talking about ???This is the best book ive ever laid eyes on. The pictures are very cute and (i think Diane is her name)Dod an amazing job.

I ordered this and another book called Maltese (Animal Planet) and this one was Terra Nova series. I felt that any breed of dog could be substituted in this general information book on dogs. There are lots of Maltese pictures in each one which I guess qualify it to be "specifically" about Maltese. I'm going to look for a book written by a Maltese breeder.

I do not own this book. I did click on the author's name and discovered she's written books on German Shepherd Dogs, Labrador Retrievers, Beagles and Bulldogs, in addition to Maltese. And that was only the first page of books she's authored. Does the author have experience owning, breeding and showing all these very different breeds of dogs? All these cookie cutter breed books are tiresome and a waste of money. How hard is it for the publishers of these books to find someone w/ actual breed experience to write a book? There are several Maltese books out there written by women w/ decades of Maltese experience: Barbara Berquist, Bobby Linden and Vicki Abbot. Anyone who truly wants to learn about the breed should check them out.
