3.0 out of 5 stars Good Album
This is Mia's 3rd album off of No Limit. Its nothing different from an other average No Limit CD put out every month during the late 90's. But whats different about Mia X and her No Limit peers is that she is better than the average MC, which makes this kinda different in a way. This is Mia's 3rd album off of No Limit. Its nothing different from an other average No Limit CD put out every month during the late 90's. But whats different about Mia X and her No Limit peers is that she is better than the average MC, which makes this kinda different in a way. The LP still runs with too many guest apperances but they don't hurt as much unless you have a Mac, Fiend, Master P, and etc. rappin almost the whole song(which does happen a few times in the LP)but at times Mia does make it work with ''Bring It On'', a crunk song featuring Fiend, Skull Duggery, Mystikal, Mac, and C-Murder ''Ride or Run'' featuring Steaddy Mobb'n and Big ED and ''Puttin It Down'' featuring Mac, Fiend, Mystikal, and Kane and Abel. One of the best and unique songs is '' Watcha Wanna Do'' a remake of the Gap Band's '' Yearning For Your Love'', which shows how different a lady No Limit MC works on the mic with a ballad. Overall this is no different from any other NO Limit CD with the pen and pixel cd graphics, the promoting album book, and the cramp guest appearances. I'd pick it up onl if your curious but its no different from any other late 90's No Limit LP.

3.0 out of 5 stars THIS CD IS ALRIGHT, April 13, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Mama Drama (Audio CD)
THIS CD IS ALRIGHT, NOT NEARLY AS GOOD AS THE LAST ONE. THEY LOOK LIKE THEY WERE GOING BACK TO THE OLD FORMULA WITH SOLDIER SONG ON TRACK NUMBER 1 AND HAVING MORE PEOPLEON THE ALBUM, BUT ONCE AGAIN THEY RUSH THIS ALBUM AND DROPPED IT TO FAST TRACKS 2,4,5,6,10,11,12,13,14,,15 ARE ALRIGHT, TRACKS 6, AND 11 ARE THE BEST, TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

This is one of the best no limit cds ive ever heard. Because it has a commercial appeal and gangsta tracks. They have tons of guest apperence and tight beats. I like the R & b type tracks like what you wanna do. She has a nice gangsat track with mac and snoop also.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!, November 7, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Mama Drama (Audio CD)
I own this CD and I love it! 20 tracks make this album complete and Mia X can really rap! I own all 3 of her albums, and this one is my top favorite! She can definately bring da drama! as well as "bring it on" and "go to war" with anybody who wants to test her. My favorite tracks are: "What'cha Wanna Do", "I'mma Shine," "Fallen Angels," and of course, "Mama Drama."
If you don't own this CD already, then I strongly urge you buy this hot explosive album from the best lady in rap today! You won't be disappointed when you hear songs such as "Bring It On," and "Don't Start No Sh*t."

5.0 out of 5 stars Fan of Mama Mia, July 7, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Mama Drama (Audio CD)
Mia X is one of the best lyricist I've ever heard. She is the most talented of all of the no limit soldiers. She doesn't get the recognition that she deserves(maybe cause she's not showing enough skin).I know her next album will be even better than the last. She is a very beautiful lady and she doesn't have to take off her clothes to show it.Her work speaks for itself,so take time to listen to the rhymes she's spittin.

5.0 out of 5 stars shes a very tight rapper, November 7, 2001
By
This review is from: Mama Drama (Audio CD)
i like mia-x so much and shes basically my second favorite rapper missy the first just cause i like her so much as an whole but if i had to choose i gotta give it to mia-x cause every single word that come out of mouth may not be right and they maybe curse words but she's telling the truth and the way that she grew up and lived is the way she raps she doesn't come up with an fake image just to make her stuff big she raps like the ghettos not just lyrics on paper but through her experiences and her hardness and toughness, she raps, how she thinks which is like the streets, boy when she drops her lyrics, i'm sorry to say if i was busta rhymes or any other rapper i would be scared to go up against her in competition the only one that can hang and probaly beat her is da brat. and missy probaly could hang if she throw her smooth cut down rhymes down to her to make her feel like well she done cut me down enough with her tight rhymes so let me stop, but missy is still the best, but da brat and mia-x are some true rappers also.
