About the Author

Paul Vos Benkowski lives in Wisconsin with his wife and child. This is his first book.

Jennifer Herbert loves to create beautiful paintings as well as illustrate books. Although she was born in the United States, she currently lives in Canada with her husband and son.

More About the Author

Having survived being a stay-at-home dad to our three sons, I have collected what wits I have left enough to write a series of amateur detective novels about a Green Bay city police officer who has taken a paternity leave to care for his eight month old daughter. Her name is Rae. His name is Tim Campbell and he goes by the nickname Soup. This is his story, not mine.

Format: Board book
I checked this out from the library because it was a board book and able to stand up to my 16-month-old twins' handling. My boy took to it immediately and has me read it 4 times in a row sometimes. My girl likes it too. It surprised me because I really did not think the book was unusually great, but they love it!

I have read this book to my two daughters over the last year several times and each time they notice something new! This book has allow us to discuss home life and the work place and how roles are not gender specific. Excellent work!

Format: Board book Verified Purchase
I purchased this book for my first two grandchildren and now for the third who is due in March. For the first two I printed pictures of their Mom and Dad and glued them over the faces on the last page. They loved it. Now the third is on the way and I will do the same for him. Just a fun thing for when they are here with Nana and waiting for Mom and Dad to come home.
