This book was absolutely amazing from the very first page to the last. The retelling of the wondrous stories depicting the Sibyls' impact on our world was an incredible eye opener and journey into history for me. I am very new to the study of African Spirituality but this book show that Mami Wata may have begun in Africa but her influence and impact was throughout the lands. Also, I found am learning how to heal from the intergenerational traumas caused by the horrors of the Diaspora. Mami Wata helps us to help our children and families to heal from Post Slavery trauma, while growing in Spiritual Wisdom. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading Volume II.
