my ridgeback loved to chew on this toy - after on trip in the dishwasher - but shredded big pieces out of it in less than 30 min.
the only toy that has not been destroyed by her is her kong (black one)...

Being an owner of a 1 1/2 year old Lab and a veterinarian, I am always in search of safe, durable and fun toys for my dog which I could also recommend to my clients.

My dog has chewed up quite a few supposedly durable chew toys, but the Pawtrack Tire Biter has held up very well. Having said that, he does not chew on the tire too much. Instead, we use the tire as an interactive toy which keeps my dog busy for a while. The hole in the middle is just right for an extra large Kong - we fill the inside of the tire with treats and then plug the hole with the Kong which also has treats in it. So after eating the treats from the Kong, he has to work it out of the tire to get more treats.

We were also able to lodge a large Hurley bone or a large Planet Dog Orbee ball or a large Planet Dog Orbee bone in the hole. Our dog will get quite occupied trying to get his other toy out of the hole.

So I would strongly recommend this toy to anyone who has a very active dog that has lots of energy to spare and loves to chew!

Nice size, very sturdy, good price. My dog is still trying to wrap her teeth around it (ha ha) because she was used to the medium size and they are quite different in size.

My 2 Rottie's like to chew on these tires and this one is still in one piece so I would say it was a great buy! I would definitely buy one again.

My pitbull,loves it, but it only lasts about a day and a half. then there are little black pieces and two halfs all over the carpet
