Review

This book is a winner. (Church Libraries 20040603)

ì[Dennis] is a master communicator as a speaker and writer. (Jerry B. Jenkins 20040603)

ìDoc Hensleyís writings have a magnetic quality to them. You are drawn to them. They take you to new places, introduce you to new ideas, and challenge you to rise to new levels of personal excellence. (Holly G. Miller The Saturday Evening Post 20040603)

ìWhenever I pick up a book by Dennis Hensley, I can expect to laugh, learn, love, and live to the fullest. He takes seemingly complicated issues and makes them understandable without losing their fascinating qualities. (Bill Myers Author of Blood of Heaven 20060901)

Man to Man is a practical, down-to-earth book. This is an interesting and thought-provoking book. Its greatest strength lies in its high-quality illustrations. . . kind of practical advice and counsel that all of us need. It is an excellent source of sermon illustrations. (Contact )

The book is great reading, greater stories that tie into Biblical principles. (Crystal Cathedral Men's Ministry )

"This book is one of those I call a 'halftime book.' You've been on the playing field, working hard, and now it's time for a break before you head back for the second half. Every man needs a halftime, when you can both rest and re-evaluate your game plan. This book is perfect for your halftime. It's Man to Man by Dennis Hensley." (Doug Apple BookBash )

From the Back Cover

Life can be tough, especially if you’re a man. You’re supposed to be strong yet willing to cry, a financial provider yet not a “workaholic”, a hard-hitting businessman yet a sensitive spiritual leader. If you’re not careful, the pull in all these directions will tear you apart.

“Doc” Hensley certainly understands the issues, and his practical wisdom is drawn directly from his experiences as a Vietnam veteran, an award-winning journalist, and a dedicated husband and father. They’re written just for you . . . man to man.

“[Dennis Hensley] is a master communicator.”

—Jerry B. Jenkins
