Must Read for All Christians,
By
This review is from: Man Called Mr Pentecost: (Paperback)
This book must never be out of print. It is a message for every generation. David du Plessis might be one of the humblest men ever to live, and yet, he did so many things that "greater" men have never achieved. He influenced Protestants and Catholics, Reformed and Evangelicals, Christain believers around the world with a faith that most people only dream about. His walk with God was like that of Enoch, Billy Graham, Kenneth Hagin, Pope John the Twenty-third, and St Paul himself.
Rev duPlessis had so much faith in God that he stood in line and asked for an airline ticket, as God instructed him, and had no money to pay for it. He knew the money would come. At the same moment the ticket was placed on the counter for him to pay for it, a man in the crowd spotted David, rushed over and said, "God told me to give you some money (it was the exact amount of the ticket) the other week, but, I didn't respond as prompty as I should have, but here it is." One miracle after another. This reads like fiction, but it is not. It is as true as God's promises for each of us. This man walked among us and followed the teachings that Jesus taught. Rev. du Plessis was very instrumental in Vatican II. Please read this small, but powerful book. Your faith will jump levels higher.

It is a very good biography about David du Plessis.
du Plessis is in his youth and bonehard pentecost, however when he is about 31 years old Smith Wigglesworth comes and prophecies over him that God wants to use him as a tool for spreading pentecost to the old church. The book then explains how this came to be. It opened my eyes to the fact that the established church is not as dead as I thought it was. It also made me realize that the Holy Spirit can do much to a person who is willing to hear and obey his voice. I think it is a book all christians should read. Both those who think speaking is tongues is from the devil and those who think opposite. Read it and be blessed.

I never heard of David du Plessis until I saw him on a 1985 Praise the Lord show and was so impressed I searched for him on Amazon and this book came up. I was so happy I got this book as I was amazed on how God used du Plessis and how much wisdom he was given.
