This review is from: Man, Climate and Architecture (Architectural Science) (Hardcover)
Such any other man products and farther than philosophic views in architecture, there are some scientific principals that make buildings more reasonable. Certainly architecture is a border between man and his environment. It is a container which must prepares a habitable environment for man inside almost a bigger inhabitable environment. This could not achieve without a necessary knowledge.Surely human comfort achievement is an important parameter of this knowledge for building acceptability; and thermal comfort is the main factor for human comfort achievement. This book based on the relationship between man, climate and architecture, presents some useful methods for thermal comfort achievement in architecture even in harsh climates. |
