Editorial Reviews

About the Author

Brent Dorian Carpenter was born 19 April 1964 in Detroit, Michigan, the third of three sons. Influenced by his parents, both educators, he took an early interest in astronomy, history, geography and paleontology. Early artistic endeavors involved scripting and illustrating comic books, efforts which resulted in an interview by CNN in 1993. Man Of The Cloth came to him in an epiphany in 1998 and quickly became an obsession. During this project, the writer has endured many terrible hardships and has twice come to the brink of death, experiences that deepened his commitment to life and God. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best true reality, covered in fiction, December 12, 2002

Juanita Crespo (Chicago, Il. United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Man of the Cloth (Hardcover)
I got this book few years ago even I met Mr. Carpenter. I have to say I was amazed by this book I couldn't just put it at side until I finished it. I should like to see this book made in movie it would be one out of the imagination of many people. The reality that we already have lived, are living and will be living are all there in that book. This is a must read book.

5.0 out of 5 stars very interesting book, June 11, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Man of the Cloth (Paperback)
I usually read some parts of a book at a time-put it down and continue later. However with Man of the Cloth I was unable to put it down for very long. It seemed that I could not wait to find out what was on the next page. The idea of a cardinal and a geneticist plotting to clone Jesus Christ is at the very least frightening. Without hesitation it is my feeling that this book will make the bestseller list by years end.
