5.0 out of 5 stars Fantasy Man
I liked this book. Ivan and Nayo made a very good couple. I like that the female character was of strong character. Ivan needed to come out of his shell and Nayo did that for him. I really enjoyed this series and hated for it to end. I wished that she would have wrote the weddings of all three . but maybe she will bring out something new. Quick Read. Good book!

3.0 out of 5 stars Hit or Miss? More Miss
For me, this author is usually hit or miss and I found this last story more of a miss. I hate that I spent my money on the series but if you read one and it's pretty good, you usually hold out hope that the rest will be just as good. Book I was the best. Ivan was way to moody, quick tempered and down right spoiled. He and Nayo were always snippy with each other. Ms. Alers...

Ms. Alers gives great cultural, scenic and detail visions but the characters are what needs refining.

3.0 out of 5 stars "Man Of Fantasy, Not Quite!", October 24, 2009
This review is from: Man of Fantasy (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
Let's see Man Of Fate..done, Man Of Fortune..done, and now Man Of Fantasy..done. Of the three men, Ivan was kinda boring. It's like after reading Kyle and Duncan's stories you pretty much know how things will turn out with Ivan and Nayo. Is it me or did anyone else think that the storyline was rushed?

Rating 4.5

This is the third installment of Rochelle "Best Man Series" and I have enjoyed each of them. Each man bring something similar and different. The relationship between Kyle, Duncan & Ivan is so special and wonderful you can't help but fall in love with them.

Ivan and Nayo met for the first time when he goes to Gallery opening. Ivan fear of commitment and Nayo has no interest of falling in love but all that change when the attraction between them is so strong. The slowly begin to build a relationship but both are still working out their issue. Nayo fear she has to give up her career to have it all and Ivan is scare if he tell Nayo how he feel she will reject him. They both learn to trust and int the end have a beautiful love. You will know be disappoint but I have to admit that I hate to see this series end and I love the fact that Rochelle revisit with the Whitfield. I can't wait to find out what Tessa & Faith is going to have and ladies yes their husband is still FINE along with these FINE men. Glad we got a wedding and I am hoping we will get to see or hear about Kyle and Duncan wedding.

If you haven't purchase any of the book do so they are all wonderful.

Smooches
Louise

Ivan's story was the best of the three. I really couldn't wait to read these stories and was kind of let down after I finished DG's story. But I purchased book 3 and finished it. Ivan and Nayo really connected when they met for the first time. He had built a very thick wall around himself and when he told Nayo how his brother died it fell. I am so glad that the wedding ended this story and wished that I could have read about the others. I am 57 years young and reading romance stories are a passion that I love.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved It!, November 7, 2011

I almost let the previous reviewers sway me not to purchase this book, but I am glad that I didn't listen. I loved this book and the story of Ivan and Nayo. They both had their issues to work through, but in the end, they came together. Loved it, and would highly recommend it along with the previous two in the series.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not a fantasy romance, June 21, 2010
This review is from: Man of Fantasy (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
If there were half stars I would give this 2.5 stars. One thing I do like about the Man of series the couples come across as people you would like to have as friends. The real star of the series is the Harlem brownstone and New York city itself. If I was rich would rush to NY and buy one lol Ivan with his issues is the last of the friends/brothers to fall, even tho separately Ivan and Nayo are likeable, as a couple I would not see them lasting the distance in the real world. They meet in October and by December are married and all their demons are resolved? However Ms Alers made her secondary characters more interesting than the primary ones, especially Geoff, would like to read his story, does he find true love, does he start eating lol?

4.0 out of 5 stars The most confident of the three!, January 3, 2010

I liked this book, wasn't in love with it but liked it. Out of the three books I would say that Ivan was the most stubborn, confident, strong willed and believable than the other two men (But Duncan is still my favorite). At times I was angry with both Nayo and Ivan because I thought they were both too stubborn for their own good.

I would recommend this book...but I will say that I was extremely disappointed with the first book in this series.

I absolutely loved this book. It kept me entertained and never got boring. I have the other two books, and have just started the second in the series. It is shaping up to be as good as the first. I love to read books in series like this. It's like when you finish the book, you get to keep the story going. I hope to read more by Rochelle Alers. This was the first time I have read anything by her, and I loved it.
