5.0 out of 5 stars In the Hearts of All the World, November 15, 2004

For me, Dunnery's solo career has eclipsed his years with "It Bites." "Man" is another excellent addition to his catalog. "I'm In Love" is simply a lovely classic with Dunnery's voice soaring on the wings of love as he sings "I'm in love," we seem to fly with him. This track spent quite a bit of the summer at the very top of my personal top ten and will doubtless be one of my favorite tracks to which I was introduced this year, "Venus is my lover & she's come to set me free, like a melancholy rumor that your body won't let go, the beginning of your living and the end of all you know, I'm in LOVE!" CLASSIC! "Flower Girl" is another blockbuster track with Dunnery's addictive catchy melody and some Asian musical inflections, "I got some weeds in my mind that need pulling that I don't have the courage to face, I got some roses in the corner of my eye, think I'll move them to a different place." "In the Garden of Mystic Lovers" is another delightful track with a call & response chorus, Dunnery's energetic strumming, and the utter abandon in his voice, "There's a fire that keeps on burning in the hearts of all the world, a little girl keeps on smiling & her face just says it all." "The Ava Song" has Dunnery's classic build and great vocals. "Man" is a complete delight, one not to miss. Bravo!

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible, April 28, 2004

This is one of the most original artists I have heard in many years. From his website writings, I would question whether he would want fame, but his music certainly deserves a lot more attention. His Wounding and Healing is powerful and the fusion of acoustic and electric guitar is masterful. I am trying to wear out my CD.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Beautiful CD, July 2, 2005

Francis Dunnery, after having been through the normal "star-making machine" now has his own label where he can call the shots. I have to say, he is one hell of a shot-caller. Not confined by the "have to have a hit or hit the road" dictum any longer, he's free to create music that's melodic, ethereal, compelling and just downright great. This CD is packed with melodies that'll stick in your head long after you hit the power button. The production is crisp and his guitar playing is masterful. Take my word, if you're looking for something new to check out, this is definitely worth getting. I swear you won't be sorry.
