This movie is like great literature. The story is so well crafted and the questions posed are timeless in their relevance. I just saw it on television and came to Amazon to see if I could get a copy on DVD. No such DVD. What a shame.

Stars Peter O'Toole and Richard Roundtree perform masterfully in this two act videoplay with epilogue. Working with limited props and a great cinematographer, the two transcend the datedness of the material and eloquently pose the questions of intrinsic dogma the way two consumate professionals should. I enjoyed this movie and would like to show it to my children and theirs. I consider it a second drawer classic.

PUT THIS VIDEO BACK INTO PRINT! Man Friday is an excellent, witty and poignant examination of what happens when a stodgy British explorer is stranded on a deserted island with a native of the area. This video looks at western vs. non-western society, anthropology and human interaction in an absolutely hilarious, yet thought-provoking, manner. Bring it back!

THIS MOVIE MUST COME BACK!! Man Friday - a low tech, low budget film BUT an amazinging, wonderfully, fantastically high level entertainment. There has never been a movie like this before. Where is it? This movie gets 164,000 stars. BRING IT BACK!!
