5.0 out of 5 stars Marriage $aver!
Without this multitude of humorous thoughts and expressive ideas, my wedding would not have gone so incredibly smooth and stress-free! This is all due to the help my husband effortlessly gave after reading Steven Branter's fabulous insight into the world of men and weddings!

1.0 out of 5 stars Overkill and tasteless
The attempt at humor is forced in this weak-read. I was bored in the first chapter. Regular guys don't think or act this way. Nice try though.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the regular guy's bible for planning HER wedding!, October 4, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: A Man and Her Wedding (Paperback)
The many "Brantner-isms" (the humorous, but true take Steven Brantner has on life) had me laughing and relating to the stories and advice. Regular guys around the world should read "A Man and Her Wedding" to realize that they are not alone in their limited role in the wedding planning. The sooner they read this book and understand their role, the more they will enjoy and relax during the planning of HER wedding!

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally Something In The Wedding Process A Guy Can Relate To, October 4, 1999

This review is from: A Man and Her Wedding (Paperback)
Very well written! It's funny, witty and extremely informative. Brantner does a wonderful job of providing insight to both the Bride and more importantly, the Groom, as they begin their voyage towards marriage.

Throughout "A Man and Her Wedding" there are many fun little stories that will both amuse and amaze you.

I have to be honest, I'm not someone who typically likes to curl up on the couch with a good book, but I couldn't put this one down. Lets face it guys, there are just somethings we either don't understand or are completely in the dark on, and weddings may be one of them.

I highly recommend this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Man and Her Wedding, February 9, 2004

This was the book that got me through it all successfully. Mr Brantner has captured the essence of the modern wedding. With tongue firmly in cheek, and quick wit, he has put all the essentials in place. Brides be warned, and grooms take heart. What you need is here, and while you are learning it, you will have many opportunities to chuckle. Dont read this out loud to your bride. Use the advice to accomplish a perfect wedding with both of your sensibilities intact.

4.0 out of 5 stars What book did you read?, September 28, 1999

Overkill and tasteless? The book can be very helpful to us poor guys trying to understand what all the fuss is about. There is plenty of practical advice for both hubby and wife!

1.0 out of 5 stars This book is stupid, June 28, 2000

I am trying to plan a wedding and came across this ridiculous book. I hated it. The content is condescending and stereotypical. Helpful advice to adult readers: Don't buy it. If you did, keep your receipt and take it back.

1.0 out of 5 stars Zzzzzz, May 1, 2000

Save your money, unless you have absolutely no common sense and can't be trusted to plan a wedding. This book does not offer any info that you couldn't get from asking ANYBODY that got married in the last 10 years. Every chapter makes a sad attempt at humor by using the typical stereotypes of a beer swilling, no-brained groom-to-be. Maybe this book would help out the immature 17 year-old that's having a shotgun wedding, but if you've been involved in anybody else's wedding..save your $$. This book is downright painful.
