Editorial Reviews

2008 release from this fast-rising artist who inhabits the musical hybrid tradition of Pop-Reggae performers such as Finlay Quaye and Lily Allen. Hailing from North London, Natty grew up surrounded by an eclectic mix of sounds from Neil Young to Marvin Gaye and it was while working in Sphere Studios in Battersea that he first discovered his talent. A gifted musician, poet and lyricist, Natty's soulful roots, acoustic guitar and references to dance culture make him an artist not to be missed. 12 tracks including the singles 'Cold Town' and 'July'. Atlantic.

Great sound. Great beat. I love Natty because he feels the music and gets me ready for anything. The lyrics are real, true life...i listen to natty over and over again. If you like reggae, relaxed, comforting, or real music then you NEED to purchase the whole album. xoxoxo

4.0 out of 5 stars Terriffic Album!, December 4, 2010
By
This review is from: Man Like I (Audio CD)
This is a great album of modern reggae/ska. It's a bit upbeat for reggae, but a bit slow for ska- leaving it somewhere in-between. There are only one or two songs that I skip. My favorite song is probably 'coloured souls". I'd give this album five stars if there were no 'must skip' tracks, but revolution and say bye bye just don't do it for me.
