Of Man and Monster is unlike anything I have ever read. It's interesting, likable and realistic characters made the story line move quickly. It was quite difficult to put down.
If you're tired of cheap fantasy/scifi knockoffs, check out this book. I also highly recommend the first book in the series (which you don't need to read to understand this one). It's hard to compare him to other authors. I say Tolkien or Brooks but only because they created new universes unlike anyone elses. Saje sets a high bar for new fantasy and sci fi authors. Fans aren't going to take recycled fiction forever and Saje has created a new world for us to play in.

This book takes Sci/fi fantacy to a whole new level which is very refreshing from the normal sci/fi fantacy. It is very well writen and easy to follow. The characters are so real feeling, that you can not help but feel you are there when you read this book. I would recomend this book to everyone and all of Saje Williams's books.
