This review is from: Man With No Name Volume 1 TPB (v. 1) (Paperback)
Since there was only one other review of this book on amazon, I figured I should put in my two cents. I really liked this graphic novel all around. I thought the art work was very good, and I'm pretty picky when it comes to that. Too many artists are trying to prove something, or create "their look" and often it is just too stylized or obnoxious. This just had a good, solid look to it while not trying to look unique.
As far as the story, it takes place immediately after the events of "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly," which was so cool to read. "Blondie" is riding into a town, after having left Tuco in the desert with his share of the gold. What happens next compliments the previous trilogy and, I think, has the same kind of feel to it. Of course the main character does some really slick, clever things to get himself out of a jam or take care of the bad guys.
If you are a western fan, particularly a fan of the No Name trilogy, and like comic books, you should love this one. I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about it, so I gave it 5 stars. Looking forward to reading the next one.

2.0 out of 5 stars Man with no name not interesting, December 28, 2010

Man with no name vol. 1 is not my cup of tea. The story is predictable and the art naive and boring. Perhaps it hits a very young audiense.
