Book Description

January 6, 2009
You’ve followed The Rules but still, He’s Just Not That Into You. Now what?

While it’s great to suggest that a woman shouldn’t have to conform to unreasonable expectations of perfection in order to attract a guy and keep him, the reality in the dating world is somewhat different. Men are tactile, visual, and visceral, and a spectrum of factors—from the way a woman orders wine to the pictures she has next to her bed to how often she shaves—can be enough to turn a guy off…permanently.

With The Man Plan, relationship columnist Whitney Casey shares with women what men really think on a variety of issues, from the way women dress to how they take care of their cars. Including the opinions of a cross section of single men—as well as such notable personalities as Joel Osteen, P. Diddy, and Dr. Laura Berman—The Man Plan helps women identify the little issues that can make a big impression.

Like many of the other readers that have written reviews on this book, I too am extremely dissappointed that I ordered this one. This book was like Drive Men Wild-For Dummies! If you've never gotten any attention what-so-ever from a man then this book is for you!

I skimmed through this book in its entirety the day that I received it in the mail and had to laugh-out-loud! The only reason I even bought this was because I'd heard an advertisement for it on my local radio station and it drew my curiousity because they really didnt give many details regarding its message and only focused on the writers resume. I will know better next time. This was a complete waste of my money. This book was filled with nonsense. Teaching the readers hygiene tips, make-up, how to send cell phone text messages using correct abbreviations! come on now...get real... Please save your money

1.0 out of 5 stars Disgusting, March 2, 2009
This review is from: The Man Plan: Drive Men Wild... Not Away (Hardcover)
Why would I take dating advice from this antiquated, artificial, divorced after 9 months woman whose best tips are to wear high heels and never wear a nude bra? This book has the most obvious ways in the world to attract a man, but doesn't dare go any deeper to discuss relationships in any sort of meaningful way. If you're strictly looking for the maximum amount of male attention, save your money and invest in makeup and heels, instead. At least, that would be Whitney's advice. This book is terrible for women in general and especially young women who should be told that there are in fact men out there who value more than fake tans and artifice.

1.0 out of 5 stars This book is horrible, March 3, 2009
This review is from: The Man Plan: Drive Men Wild... Not Away (Hardcover)
A book about how to please men that advises women to cook more meat, and read up on sports and make sure you have a nice tv? Really????

Excuse me, what year is it?

This book is just stupid. If what you want is to fulfill every wish/fantasy that a guy has, it's not difficult to do that. But what about a real relationships based on being who you really are? Wouldn't a woman's time be better spent trying to achieve that?
