COPING WITH HUSBAND'S AFFAIRS,

This review is from: Man Sharing: Dilemma of Choice, a Radical New Way of Relating to the Men in Your Life (Hardcover)
Audrey Chapman
Man Sharing: Choice or Dilemma (New York: William Morrow, 1986) 116 pages Based on workshops of the same name and interviews with women who have tried to share their men (usually unwillingly), this small book explores the actual state of multiple relationships, but it offers few insights into how they might work. The author divorced her husband when she found out that he loved another woman. She could not cope with her jealousy, which she believes is natural. The context of this book is rather conventional: women dating, marrying, & coping with men's affairs. If you might like more positive results, search the Internet for these specific words: "Multiple Loving Bibliography". James Leonard Park, author of New Ways of Loving: How Authenticity Transforms Relationships.

Honesty on a Taboo Topic,

This review is from: Man Sharing: Dilemma of Choice, a Radical New Way of Relating to the Men in Your Life (Hardcover)
This book is an honest look with insight into a pervasive but taboo topic.
Political Correctness and discomfort cause our society and writers to ignore a very real and common social reality called mansharing. The mathematical realities of demographics forces this issue upon us and the author identifies it, describes it and provides reasonable alternatives for dealing with it. |
