4.0 out of 5 stars More of U.N.C.L.E.
Another two great episodes from the 60's series. I especially like the Hula Doll Affair- Watching Jan Murray and Pat Harrington as battling siblings for the top THRUSH position is great. Too bad this was the last of Tuner/MGM releases.

2.0 out of 5 stars Typical "camp" stuff
These 2 episodes are typical examples of how the "camp" ideal
begun by TV's "Batman" show highly influenced this series,
spelling out the way for its eventual demise. Illya's silly
combat tactics in "Hula Doll" further portray him as a Russian
"Robin the Boy Wonder" to Solo's Batguy.

It's good to see "Albert Stroller" and "Ducky Mallard" in action when they were younger!!

I love 60's spy stuff. So far out, so tongue in cheek, so funny. And David McCallum is simply delicious with the long hair. Ask any woman over 35 about Illya Kuryakin and watch her face. MMM MMM good. I wish Turner/MGM would do all 4 seasons of these on DVD. I'd buy em all again!

1.0 out of 5 stars Thank God it's the last!, June 21, 2001
This review is from: Man From Uncle 22: Deadly Goddess & Hula Doll [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Thank God it's the last volume in the MGM/UA series. Hula Doll and Deadly Goddess are silly and stupid. Please, no more releases! These selections were bad enough!
