grab it while you can,

Great news, first time I received a vinyl LP packed as it should from amazon, maybe they got it, no more enormous boxes where the vinyl is loose, this was very stiff thing and strong package. Hope the keep sending the vinyls in those boxes.
This is a 2 LP edition and a big sticker announces "includes special EP and compilation tracks", I look and looked for an EP but there are only 2 12 inches, I wonder what they ment by EP. I thought maybe it's a download since the sticker also says "MP3 download card inside", the card is there but when you go to the URL you get a "incorrect PIN" and no download. I sent two emails to the label but no answer. I still looked again for this mysterious EP and to my surprise I found another card for the MP3 with another code, again the same "incorrect PIN" and no download. So, no EP and no MP3, maybe the label has a problem with words including the letter P. That's the only explanation. Now the music, it's just great and the vinyl sounds gorgeous, for many Escovedo won't need an introduction, for the others let me say this is rough americana music as it should be with a muscular male voice learned in bars and traveling the american lands, he did indeed More Miles Than Money and did not became a superstar, but he's better than Springsteen and ranked high near Jimmy Lafave. This release include now classic Escovedo's like Follow You Down, I Was Drunk , Wave, as well as many others and a lot of bonus material (that may be what they call the EP). The vinyl sounds good although it's a rermaster, probably digital, this sounds very analog to me, and I recommend it to the vinyl addict. And to those who have yet to hear Escovedo's music don't delay it anymore, not listening to such great music may shorten your life.

I am a huge fan of Alejandro's and admit to being more than a bit biased when it comes to his music. That said, AMUTI is one of his best releases. I cannot comment on the bonus material this limited edition lp contains. It is still sealed, waiting for the chance to be autographed when I am fortunate enough to see Alejandro in concert again.
