4.0 out of 5 stars A useful begining for understanding computer chess, October 27, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Man Versus Machine: Kasparov Versus Deep Blue (Paperback)
Being the author of a chess program, and a chess enthusiast, I liked this book. It did not go into as much depth on how Deep Blue works as some other books on computer chess. However, it did provide a good commentary on each of the games that would help a rather inexpierenced player understand the match. In short, it is a good introduction to computer chess and the famous games between Kasparov and Deep Blue.
