I am so glad this book was written. It is not an easy task to always be able to get a point across but learning how, when and why really makes a difference. Johnson is straight to the point with a bit of humor, his writing style is easy to read and full of 'ah ha' moments! This is a great book for women seeking to choose a 'good man', especially helpful to divorced women re-entering the dating world and a real gift to the new bride! Myself, married more then 25 years found it to be refreshing and uplifting. Thanks!

This book was amazing! It offers amazing insight into the qualities that constitute a good man and a good father, particularly to those of us who weren't blessed to have that role model as a child. It helped me to understand what to value and expect, as well as what to seek after in raising my sons. This is a must have for any woman who is still looking for the love of her life or for the woman who has him and thinks things could be even better. There is something for everyone.

A married friend loved this book, so now I'm reading it. Well written, very informative. It surprises me in places, in the same way that "Men Are From Mars" surprised me, but page after page rings true. I am learning! (You also like the author.) Even as a single, I really recommend it.

Although a man wrote this book, it is primarily for a woman to read. As you read this insightful book you may disagree with some of what is written. However, there are many principles to apply to your everyday interaction with the man in your life. There is advice on how to encourage him to be the leader in your family. The author advises you do this by stepping back and letting him be the lead decision maker even if you don't agree with the decision. The author does point out that the women should be allowed to voice her opinion. He states that in the end, to teach her husband leadership, a wife should let the decision be his. Letting him be the final word in the family decisions will also help build his self-esteem.

The author repeatedly comments that praise and admiration are the best tools to having a healthy relationship with your husband. When your husband feels respected he will show you more respect. This book is funny at times, always easy to read and definitely filled with practical advice.

I can't say enough great things about this book. I believe God led me to this book and it has blessed me more than I thought it could. It was such a blessing, that I had to share it with my friends, so I bought 3 copies already and gave them away. I have started applying the principles and I see a difference in my husband already. He even surprised me by sending me an edible arrangement of chocolate covered strawberries to my job! Look at God!:0)I just want to thank Rick for being obedient and writing this book because it is a blessing. It can help you if you are consistent in following the principles and praying. Obedience is better than sacrafice. 1 Samuel 15:22. I highly recommend this book!!!

I heard Rick Johnson speak, and knew that his book would be of great value. The Man Whisperer is a must read for all women, and any man who wonders what type of woman he should be looking for! I'm passing this book along to my husband, and all the women I know.
The Man Whisperer is very enlightening and insightful. Rick gives women a view into a man's world that will make sense and give women the thought process they need to help the men in their lives realize their full potential. If you want to have a better husband, this book will certainly show you how you can be a better wife!

This book is very very insightful!! I read it in 24 hours. I applied all the pointers in the book to my husband & my son and it has made a huge difference. Men & women are NOT alike! Now, someone should write a sequel called 'The Woman Whisperer'. I recommend this book to all women!!

I loved this book! I was originally skeptical, as when I told my friend I wanted "The Man Whisperer" I meant the new one that came out this by a different author.. however I was very pleasantly surprised! The book is witty, helpful and clearly defines why certain things are so important to guys, and how much power a woman has over her man. It's done wonders in my relationship, and it's a great book--highly recommended!

This is truly a vital part of learning how things should be so as to make the relationships of today become stronger and more meaningful

The book was very enlightening.
I would say it's a must read for every woman, no matter what state she is at.
Whether she is single, dating, married etc. This book will empower and enlighten.
For me it was a page-turner!!!
