I was always interested in Mata Hari and the intelligence operations and spy rings of WW II. The author subtly shows a picture of pre world war Paris and Europe, with strong charters, their ambitions and you get an "inside" picture what did happen or what could have really happened behind the scenses. I really enjoyed this book.
