Good book, but don't make the same mistake I did, June 14, 2007
This review is from: The Man Who Tried to Clone Himself (Paperback)
I love the Ig Nobel Prizes, so when I saw there was what appeared to be a new book by Marc Abrahams, I immediately bought it. I got it in the mail and started reading, but I soon realized, "This all sounds very familiar." Yup. Sure enough. I had already read the book, because the book is, in fact, a retitled version of The Ig Nobel Prizes 2, which I already owned. If you examine the cover image closely, you'll see in fine print at the bottom a small notice stating that it was previously published as The Ig Nobel Prizes 2, but I didn't bother to look that closely at the cover image. Yeah, I should have examined the book more closely, but in my defense Amazon doesn't offer much warning to prevent people from making this mistake. (And I see from Amazon's own links that people who buy this book also often buy the Ig Nobel Prizes 2, so I'm guessing other people have done the same thing I did.)
