This is actually a collection of short stories. I really only read the first two completely and only then because they were somewhat well known classics. The rest I found to be totally routine fiction that was highly contrived and very boring.

I don't care for fiction very much anyhow, but I had hear of "The Man Without A Childhood" during high school many years ago but had never read it back then. So I was somewhat curious about how that particular story. I already knew the general outline of the story and the final outcome, but reading the complete story did fill in some details that I had not known previously.

If only for the first story of the collection and because this volume is free, I would recommend this item.
